Lifetime *appointed* positions are double bullshit
And let's be clear, this bullshit position was only even open because the party cheated the system to hold it open, which is a clear statement that all they want is power at any cost.
Anyway, fuck Kavanaugh in particular, I hope he has a fatal heart attack his first day on the job.

Anyway, you know how I feel about this. There's probably thousands of tweets I could RT about this, but I probably won't. My reach is small, and you're all already seeing it for yourselves anyway. It's exhausting, and burying everyone who follows me in misery isn't helpful.
It's a particular kind of frustration following a lot of people in the US who stand to be directly affected by this and... just unable to do anything at all, though.
