Twitter is such a terrible medium for publishing things...
There's a couple story threads I'm following that are only published to twitter, and like. I can't keep up with every tweet. About a thousand go by each day that I don't see. There's no good way to subscribe to a story.
The dragon girlfriend one is a good example - most of the time, I see updates because I happen to be looking at twitter when an update tweet lands, then I have to scroll back in the thread three or four tweets to the last one I saw, and read from there.
This isn't a good system!
I'm not really sure where I'm going with this. It's not really the creator's fault - they're just using the tools available, and the tools aren't great.
I guess I just get kind of sad about bad tech, like... all of the time. Never not feeling bad about it.
