@Nurbs honestly I can't even hope to compete, you've got me beat there
@thingywott this but for typing
@Prof@snouts.online yeah, I feel this too. I don't drive, and if I want go to KW to visit anyone or be like, minimally social ever, it's a 7:30am departure from here and a 7:50pm departure from KW - minus at least half an hour to be there early so you don't miss it.
So like, if I wanted to visit, I'd be there for not even half a day, and probably have to leave before dinner.
I mean, we're locked to this vendor, so we have no choice.
But this is gonna cost us in terms of other equipment we won't be able to deploy, and student jobs we won't be able to offer over the summer term.
I mean, we at least have protections signed into law for now, and it's definitely still a better option than the US in the short term.
But like, seeing how almost every single Liberal voter in ON flipped conservative when the Liberals folded is... not inspiring.
They didn't really do that, and I'm not sure if they can pull that off again. I don't have any faith in a conservative federal government not to be absolute shitholes, having seen what the provincials are already doing in Ontario.
I envy my cat a lot.
All he has to worry about is finding warm spots to have a nap and reminding me to feed him twice a day.
I can't go to hell - I'm all out of vacation days.
Birds are good. Computers are bad. I'm too old for this.
