Ah yes, good, my phone seems to be doing a thing where if it turns off mobile data (ex. because I'm on WiFi) sometimes... it can just never ever find mobile data again until it's rebooted.

I caved because I am weak to meows.

My cat is sad because every time he meows for moew food, I just pick him up and set him down in front of his food bowl. Which already has food in it.

When I woke up this morning (before my alarm, somehow) I was in the middle of saying "The cycle has begun" to myself in my sleep

So, like... probably a pretty good chance I'm cursed or haunted or something like that, right?

So apparently I just can't read any news today without every site trying to aggressively redirect me to a reverent funeral for a war criminal

(realistically, I know that tweet is going to accomplish absolutely bloody nothing, but I'm tired of seeing them with donation boxes full of money everywhere I go)

Also never seemed to have much interest in watching things out the window.

I think I'll definitely try to get a pair (maybe siblings?) for my next batch of cats. Between his litter box issues and eating habits (and prescription food) I don't think introducing one now would work

I kinda wish I had a second cat.

Sometimes I worry my apt is really boring for my fuzzy son while I'm not here or busy with something else. It's kind of hard to provide enrichment - he mostly just... eats posts and carpeted things, can't climb very well (arthritis), etc

Some tweets just reminded me of the time the vet gave me some meds for my cat that had to be administered sublingually.

What kind of brain genius thought, "Cats, yes, that is definitely an animal you can administer sublingual medication to. I am very smart"?

I should just go to bed instead of sitting here thinking about how much I hate computers.

Like, let's just be clear. If some asshole company tries to lock up a gigantic chunk of new media to one country, everyone else is just going to pirate it. And like, rightfully so. Zero reservations here. You deserve to participate in shared cultural experiences.

And that's if the services even work anywhere outside the US.

I've got mixed feelings about video/internet tv services sort of drifting toward walled gardens of first party content again.

I don't necessarily think one monolithic provider is a good idea, but suuuuuuure not looking forward to paying 10 different services $15/month
