LRT is why I will forever be skeptical of software that needs to install cloud bullshit just to operate local hardware.

I mean, it's not the only software that'll do it. But I trust that things like say, browsers, are maybe a little less cavalier about certificates and so on.

I can't decide if That Burger King tweet is technology gone horribly wrong, or a social experiment to prove you can publish absolute nonsense gibberish and it will still be effective marketing because the entire world will retweet it.

I usually skip these, but yeah, okay, let's do this. I am...

I think it's probably been long enough that I can tweet Deltarune things that aren't specific major spoilers.

So let me just say - and I will die on this hill - that Susie is actually the protagonist of Chapter 1.

Caracaras:
"What if we turned a falcon into a vulture and also it has a ridiculous bowl cut"

Majesty!

So who else has had A Cruel Angel's Thesis stuck in their brain today?

It would be really nice to have like, all of of face not hurt for a day.

(I really just need it to not treat numbers like goddamn octal for filenames that often have leading zeroes)

Hey, anyone know why BASH parameter substitution would work on the same system, same account on the command line, but not in a script?

BLAH=${BLAH##+(0)}

Gives "18" for "018" from a command line.

Gives "018" for "018" in a script.

#!/bin/bash explicitly specified

FFS I need the other tech here, who arrives early, to leave so I can bloody well go home because I definitely can't leave before he does now.

GO HOME.

Me, trying to navigate Netflix: *five solid minutes of back to back chain cursing as the UI constantly jumps around while autoplaying random Videos until I can pin it down long enough to click a link*

Okay, uh, I involuntarily clench my teeth a lot (2018!) and it definitely feels like my bite sits differently now.

And that might be like, pushing a couple of my front teeth slightly out of place? Is that even a thing that can happen? It doesn't feel great.
