dream, shapeshifter summer camp

I woke up in the middle of a dream about being in a p-shifting summer camp and it was bitterly disappointing. I was getting good at turning into a bird and flying, damn it. (Bird because same number of limbs; hexapods were harder to learn and were advanced course stuff even for us dragonkin.)

@Soreth "When you can work with your feet as as your hands, we'll start teaching you how to get separate wings. Coordinating six limbs is a lot harder than managing four."

@orrery I don't remember the lessons much, just being able to jump up into the air and not come down for a while. I *did* do well at passing things between hand and foot while they became wing and talon, without dropping anything!

@Soreth Okay, managing that pass-off is pretty damned impressive. I still flub it a fair percentage of the time. Then again, most of my full-avian shifts are at least a little atavistic in nature. I've learned not to expect to keep hold of anything in that state.

Next time I go, I think I'm gonna explicitly ask if I can get into one of the gryphon workshops, but those _always_ fill so fast.
