Growing up in the American Southwest, I have emotional connections to different kinds of rock. Rounded granite boulders, sculpted sandstone, craggy basalt... these landforms all touch things that are deep inside me.
And I'm now realizing that most people don't share that experience!
@starkatt Sculpted sandstone is AMAZING and I've almost never actually gotten to experience it directly. It's weird, but... rock is very important, in a way that I don't fully understand.
