Since switching to the newjob schedule (wake around midday, work from 3:30-midnight, sleep about 4am), I've been finding a surprising amount of difficulty in transitioning from 'morning' to 'work' mode.

I kind of need to keep some time before work as an 'interface with the local world' time period but hmm, I'm not sure if there's a better way of doing this.

Of course if I was in Seattle I'd just be getting up at 7am, working 9-5:30 and everything would be fine. I mean, I'd also be On Fire but.

@Soreth it's 22c here and I'm melting a bit because I'm not at all habituated anymore after four years of not being in Seattle summers.
