I tend to not follow a lot of people on here because I prefer a quiet timeline, but that does often result in feeling "out of the loop" on a lot of masto conversations.
Reducing meme noise would be a nice way to keep up with my friends without having to wade through the timeline. Something I prefer about masto over twitter (among many other things) is that toots tend to be visible for longer. Not the case when it's noisy, though.
I have very little "brand loyalty" to anything because the concept of brand loyalty is pretty terrible, imo.
But I do have it towards trader joes and peets, for some goddamn reason.
Maybe because I've liked them since I was a kid? Idk.
Local natural foods stores do tend to be pretty good, I agree there.

Yeeeah... I added one person to get "the whole conversation" and oh boy do I regret it now.
I personally liked it better when we were all talking about cosnoozing and cuddle puddles a minute (hour) ago.

I've found a few people! Though tbh most of the people I know on Masto in the bay I knew before I joined Masto, and they just happened to already know the same nerds I did.
But yes, eventually we'll do this.
And maybe host it at Rudy's Can't Fail because that would be the 1000% Queer Bay Area thing to do.
Hmmm, maybe by Texas standards. In California their stuff is fairly cheap compared to the other places you can get organic/vegetarian stuff.
