At UCD we had a t1d group & helped each other out if we ran out of supplies or had emergencies on campus.
But most Davis students are v. privileged & as a rule we all had health insurance- if you couldn't get thru parents or work the school had a plan.
Graduating and turning 26 has been scary tho.
But yeah that price gouging is fucking horrible. No one should die bc they can't afford medicine.

I recently graduated college, which is why the distinction has been relevant up until now. Up until recently my parent's address was my "permanent" address because I was a college student. But no longer.

Organizing my insulin by expiration because OOPS it *does* have a shelf life.
*luckily most of them are good thru 2019.

Yuppp. The implications of being raised as a "nice girl" can be really devastating.
It's a habit I'm trying to unlearn for myself, but even as I try to be more assertive, I have to be mindful of the potential threat in many situations. Sometimes it's safer to play nice and compliant.
(Note: I am not a woman, but I'm a nonbinary person who is frequently enough read as a woman in public that this is still a big part of my life.)

Permanent vs current address? American
Does anyone know the legal definition of a current vs permanent address?
Right now my Driver's license lists my parent's address & I am registered to vote in their county.
I'm moving to a new county on Dec 1st. I plan to do my USPS change of address to the new home. What other paperwork do I need to do?
Will I need to update my address for Medi-Cal? Change drivers license or voter registration?
Any advice will help, thanks!
