I got a sewing machine for free about a month back - I can't seem to get the tension right so all the stitching always is super loose and unravels. Anyone know anything about sewing machine maintenance?

Had a wonderful conversation with said beautiful cousin about paths to teaching... I actually think I can do this! She recommended starting by working as an IA (Instructional Assistant) to get my foot in the door and see if I like the classroom environment. And a qualify for one of those positions! So I'm excited and ready to finally move on from my shelver job... :D
