I just finished "My Lesbian Experience with Loneliness" by Nagata Kabi. It was a little different than I expected, but I still liked it. Lots to unpack, which I'll do another time. It's time now for good little sparrows to go to bed.

I actually had a really nice day today.

I had a relaxing, creative morning at work. Took a nice early nap. Went jogging with a friend, then had dinner with said friend and my roommate. Just took a shower and now I'm feeling refreshed and relaxed.

My new place doesn't currently have heating *but* I have an electric blanket, so bye everyone I'll see you in about 15 years.

After hours of cutting out paper icons, me: "Damn, I'm getting good at scissoring".

So apparently my kid's out all week (again). According to my coworker, this is pretty common; the poor kid gets sick a lot.

It's unfortunate because I'm going to be out sporadically for the next two weeks for training at my second job, then we have one week together before winter break. It's unfortunate bc this kid needs structure and routine to learn, and we're not going to get consistency until January.
