In lieu of a picture of the little of opossums (we're not allowed to take pictures at work), here's a photo of a single baby opo my center got in a year ago:
Rails are very pretty. He had a whole apartment to himself in our aviary.
(The aviaries are the last place the birds hang out before they're well enough to be released back into the wild)
Last night at my volunteer job, I met a rail (a kind of sea bird), hand-fed some Mockingbirds, and introduced myself to a whole litter of baby opossums!
Also! I uploaded new(er) pics for my header and avatar image. Avatar's from Pride, and the header's a picture I sketched of a tarantula.
Though today I have an entire afternoon, so I think I'll spend that packing, drinking coffee, reading Clash of Kings, and researching Down Syndrome (the two kids I work with as an aide have DS)
I miss my nosering and free time spent doing stuff besides sleeping, but being employed is cool.
Can we talk about this Dany/female Drogo cosplay? I... I might need a minute.

I had a bunch of things planned to do today but instead I napped and ate nachos. Now it's actually time for bed, so I figure I'll read game of thrones until I fall asleep. ~productive~
So I officially have an Adult Job™ and I need to be an adult 5 days out of the week. I'm excited but also TERRIFIED. I've never been *consistently* responsible for that long.

4-5 hrs with the binder on is a sexy kinda out of breath.
9 hrs is painful.
I've learned my lesson and next time I bind at work I'm bringing a sports bra to change into. 😥

A cool person and long time friend, Tyler Magill opposed the Nazis in Charlottesville, and was attacked while protecting students, and suffered a stroke as a result of that attack.
Tyler is a cool DJ, a great parent, and has been standing up to Nazis for years now, and I hope will again soon.
I think many of you would like Tyler a lot. Currently the instance I'm on doesn't seem to be federating very wide, so if anyone can boost I'd appreciate it, because people should know who Tyler is.
