i feel like i explore social networks differently from a lot of people and it makes me wonder
i make new contacts by meeting friends of friends, or seeing stuff boosted by someone i'm friends with and connecting with the op
i never look at the local or federated timelines, i think i can count on one hand the times i've ever looked at either, and i feel no desire to
i fill in edges in my social network, completing triangles basically

@Eon Yeah I do it this way too, and the fact that I keep hearing people do otherwise (the obsession with reach on twitter, for example) makes me feel like a lot of people have become twisted by social media. x;
