... and then we have the Amaterasu avatar where the camera isn't tied to the body. Nor is anything else. I can't even use calibration mode! It's probably just an old avatar version, but it's rather disheartening because there's a lot (name pokemon) in this state.
"Those don't seem that bad!" You say, well the Vulpix has a smoke-weed gag, a Wolf Link avatar went all Source Film Maker'd by twisting its geometry, and that Spyro was... glitchy.
Unfortunately, VRChat doesn't lend itself to feral very well. Or the avatars that exist that I've found just aren't very good.
It doesn't help a bunch are full of gimmicky gestures which I keep goddamn triggering because of the Vive trackpads. They're a pain because they're hard to stop too.

@kistaro I've been playing Control and I definitely feel this. The general nature of controllers make them superior for a medium level of powers/functions/etc, but sometimes mouse aiming is just... better.
It just feels weird in third-person games...

@kistaro I've been using Q/E and Z/X in some things, like Minecraft, but Minecraft isn't particularly intensive anyway.

@kistaro I'm not sure I understand the difference, the keys seem to be a similar alignment.
Use of Q/A as hotkeys?
@kistaro Accidentally clipping out of spaces in VRChat always gives that slight moment of shock when I start falling...

@kistaro The current site does provide some pages in video form, but it does lose some of its charm that way. And the effects in some of them.
