You can't predict what's going to leave a lasting influence centuries from now and what isn't, but even if it's not going to be a matter of individual artists at least the styles *themselves* are going to survive, one way or another, particularly since the advent of the Internet, and the fact we've been archiving the past century or so of music in various forms of recorded media that'd make all this much more accessible decades or centuries later.
