And yeah; (western) Europe's kind of in a weird position too, since on one hand our anime boom (and with that, overt anime influence in furry) came at the same time the American one did in the late '90s/early '00s, but at the same time a lot of our homegrown animation was made in collaboration with Japanese studios; as a result you get the stylistic influences in people's art styles here, but less so the cultural ones.
