"Look, it's not too late. We can still get this curse out of you, somehow!" the man yelled at the young woman. A crowd had gathered.
"Curse? A curse?! Oh, -honey-... this is a blessing. If only you could see what I see..." she retorted, her ears already growing out into long points, her nose flattening out, turning black from the tip. "Just let me be and I'll leave y'all alone, yeah? Come on, what do you have to be afraid of."
"You! You don't even -know- the danger you pose to us all! You're a beast, a bloodthirsty animal! Nothing more!" he yelled in panic while his eyes widened. The townsfolk looked at him, aghast; but many had already turned towards the werewolf woman opposite him.
"Wouldn't a bloodthirsty animal have mindlessly attacked you by now?" she calmly stated as her muzzle and tail grew in, her body covered in fur, her visage fully lupine. "You're only afraid of me because I'm not afraid of you. -You- get out of here."
The man protested inarticulately, to no use; the townspeople slowly began to leave, with whispers about letting nature run its course. He was never heard from again; and yet, in his absence, it felt like a dark cloud over the place had finally faded away.
