You find yourself in a small clearing, sunlight filtering through the trees.
There is a wolf here.

You awaken to find yourself in darkness, although not total darkness; it looks like the sun has recently set. After a while the moon comes out from behind a cloud, full and round tonight, bathing the clearing in its clear, cold light. The wolf is still fast asleep on your arm, snoring quietly.

@Thaminga The wolf wakes up as he slides off your arm, whuffing sleepily and stre-e-etching out on his back. He rolls to his feet, blinking, and whuffs more purposefully at you

@Thaminga The wolf howls joyously along with you, harmonizing with your melody. He graciously accepts the pets, licking your...hand? paw? Whatever appendage you have there. He eyes you curiously – never seen a werewolf of this sort before.

@IceWolf > lean over to nuzzle and press hand into licks; it's large, covered in fur with patches of bare skin on the inside giving the impression of paw pads, and has long claws on the fingertips
@Thaminga The wolf reaches up and bumps noses, then leans back and inspects you curiously. He looks distinctly unnerved by the blend of wolf and human features, but evidently his curiosity is stronger than his fear.

@Thaminga The wolf leans forward cautiously, clearly still unsettled but willing to put that aside for the moment.

@Thaminga The wolf twitches like he's about to bolt, but he manages to hold his ground. Once your hand makes contact with the back of his head he leans back into the rubbing, a small happy whrr escaping his lips. His ears relax a little, although not completely.
The forest has plenty of small animals going about their business, but other than that all is quiet.

@Thaminga The wolf returns the lick with one of his own and a big grin, tongue lolling out.

@Thaminga The wolf woofs and licks your face again, tail starting to wag.
He then looks you in the eye and nods.

@Thaminga The wolf looks distinctly more relaxed now. He pads up to your head and looks down at you, then bumps noses gently. He sits back on his haunches and gives a "woof".
