Are wolves obligate carnivores? I seem to recall them being less so than cats are, for some reason, but I don't know if I'd be able to go vegetarian if I were actually a wolf.
(Not that I'm vegetarian IRL. Just idly wondering out of sheer curiosity.)
@IceWolf Wolves definitely eat plenty of non-meat out in the wild, but they're most definitely still obligate carnivores in that they need at least a decent amount of it to survive without developing health problems.
@Thaminga Huh, thanks! I was just idly wondering if they could do like us and have soy and things (if they /had/ a source of it somehow, which I could do if I were a wolf). Sounds like not.
