I don't really get the whole "let's make sure kids Never See Lewd Stuff" thing.
It's like "oh Sex is Evil, things-that-aren't-sex-but-are-still-Fun are Evil, Think of the Pure Uncorrupted Children!"
As if merely /knowing about/ sex and kink Corrupts you somehow. Ruins your, I dunno, Cognitive Virginity.

@IceWolf How do I put this... on one hand, exposing kids to outright porn is a bad idea, but at the same time... there *really* ought to be a better way around this all than treating the whole matter as "*poof!* You just turned 18, that means you're an Adult™ now!" as if people don't both develop at different rates and even ignoring that, would greatly benefit from being eased into this whole thing rather than taking such an either/or approach to it all.

Probably one way it helps is by making very clear up front that not everyone is into this stuff.

Didn't think about porn being a bad idea... but maybe that's because I've never seen "normie" porn in my life, and I've heard that sets pretty weird expectations.
