@Zeny@snouts.online our own train tracks here in Holland look pretty much exactly like this, too!

re: pol griping

@kobi_lacroix Because even if you're exclusively active on social media, you can still help nudge people in a better position to take further action into the right direction.

@trysdyn Open the issue anyway, tbh; generally speaking programmers are absolutely full of themselves, and will readily close it with the comment it's not a bug even if it's tremendously inconvenient to anyone actually trying to use the software in question.

@jdlwerewolf@snouts.online I'm like three hours behind on bird hell but the name alone reminds me of the fucking emu war

@masklayer love too get energy from turning oxygen into carbon dioxide

@ari@yiff.life @Moot@snouts.online well yeah, floppy images strictly speaking but you know what I mean

@ari@yiff.life @Moot@snouts.online I mean, personally I just downloaded FS-UAE and pirated a kickstarter ROM along with a bunch of floppies

's not like there's really any other way to get the latter two that has any chance of bringing any money to the original devs, so

gender linguistics

@heytanuki@snouts.online The singular definite one of the only one of those that's -sorta- new. The plural one obviously dates back ages (~1200) having been borrowed from Old Norse, but even the singular indef. is in fact slightly older (1300s onward) than the singular you (only fully settled in by the 15th cen, and alongside "thou" for a while after that), singular definite is about as old & has had a few peaks and lows in its acceptance since, the highest being ~2011 onward.

programming language idea: B#, which claims no relationship to C and uses different names for everything, but is otherwise functionally identical to it

probably not actually endgame spoilers from someone who hasn't watched it, also vaguely lewd

can't believe antman actually killed thanos by crawling up his ass all tiny and expanding inside him

@tom oh he better not start throwing rocks or anything fucked up like that

@trysdyn I mean, there honestly should be laws against that shit, people who work evenings/night shifts *especially* need to get proper sleep and expecting others to turn their entire schedule around for temporary work on their/someone else's house is completely unreasonable.

@trysdyn Is it possible to sue them over this at all? Because jesus christ, that's fucked.
