sometimes the monster just turns out to be very real, and it's other ordinary-ass humans

in other news I finally managed to see comet NEOWISE from my balcony last night

it's pretty damn faint at this point and viewing conditions I'm at are frankly terrible (middle of a relatively busy town, lots of light pollution), but I saw it alright

first comet I've seen in uhhhhhhh 23 years thereabouts
