Opportunity was launched all the way back when I was in my last year of elementary school, and has been on Mars for more than half my life. It's... almost unfathomable that it's really come to an end now, after a mission that was only supposed to take like three months in the first place - I can't say I don't feel sorry for it in a way, going out not with a bang, but being consumed by the dust of the very planet it was made to explore.
