Keep checking the AC if it's running fine. It only ever failed once and it was because the hose got tangled. I'm just paranoid
@ThatDamnCat exhaust hose. Its designed to be moved around a room. Whoever had it last lost the rigid rubber hose. So we replaced it.

@ThatDamnCat It could be better but that could be because it's old. I'd prefer a window unit but this is all I could scrounge on short notice.

My bedroom window unit was crapping out all summer until the other day when it suddenly decided to start working. I'm still amazed at that but oh so much happier that my bedroom is no longer 90F during mid-day
I hope for ya.
My main A/C crapped out last summer and it costs too much to replace, especially if I plan to sell this house

@ThatDamnCat oofff that sounds rough. Hopefully when my dad comes home Friday he can fix the main AC. If not guess I'll lock myself in my room (as usual)
