Tonight, about 8 hours from the time of this post, if you have clear skies, look for the moon

It will have three designations tonight, a rare treat.

Super moon: closer than usual, appearing bigger in the night sky.

Blood moon: lunar eclipse, making the moon appear reddish.

Blue moon: Second full moon within the same month.

Here in Texas (USA) the eclipse will be total at 6:51AM CDT/GMT -6:00, just before dawn.

If you are GMT -0, you won't see it. the eclipse would be at totality during the noon hour for you.

You can look for the moon and still see it appear larger in the sky because it is closer to Earth than normal.

Do note that we speak of astronomy, not astrology (stars and planets versus horoscopes).
