I've found a old Nike Hercules dish and I want a selfie sitting on top of it.
I may need to figure out how to climb the dish with hooks or something, it appears to be mesh but kinda rusty >_>

So I think I need some new shoes for this stupid idea, because I need some new shoes I can trust anyway.
Otherwise I have some really grippy rubber-coated cotton gloves that should enable engaging with sharp metal, just need some long sleeves that're comfortable and I'm willing to tear up on a fence >_>

@ThatDamnCat Jumping a shortish chainlink fence, it might have barbed wire on it I haven't gotten into the trees to check, walking up to the dish, routing my way to the top and taking a selfie, maybe sip a drink and have a snack while enjoying my vantage point

@ThatDamnCat the shoes thing is neither of my pairs are trustworthy to retain geometry or prevent ingress from sharp materials.

@ThatDamnCat Out in bee caves and ladder takes all the fun away. Also would have to be lugged in and out and is kinda bulky/heavy in the event of a good runner.

Bee Cave authorities are less chill than south Austin ones are. Not talking Williamson County levels, but still less chill.
I admit I want to see this happen (you climbing the dish). We (friend and I) used to climb on the radio towers in Westlake as teens and those have a commanding view.
