Fellow bi-oriented people, now that non-bianary is coming more into mainstream consciousness, is the term bi becoming outmoded?

@ThorGoLucky If the assumption is bisexual means "attracted to both genders", then yes.

But the way I saw it, going on heterosexual meaning attracted to someone different than you, and homosexual meaning attracted to someone same as you, then bisexual really means attracted to people both same and different.

Though a lot of people think the former, so I say pan when it really matters.

I consider bi and pan functionally synonymous, just a different identity bc of historic and personal reasons

But ive never identified as bi, only ever as pan/nb, so i wonder what some bi folks might have to say about that
