I don't want revolution, I want an end to complacency, but those with the most power have the most investment in not doing anything about people being complacent. Means they can be used, ignored, or abused.
But when those nations united, it often had disastrous results, and the more we know about that the more we realize ultranationalism is a bad route.
But a whole people able to be united over core values and ideals isn't something to sneeze at. Especially if those values and ideals are tested, good ideas. It's not like we haven't run all sorts of value types through tests in the real world. And often, the negative hatred ones lead to more pain & hardship for *most*.
@Ulfra_Wolfe same yes
But I hate the idea that injustice exists, and that we just kinda accept it as an annoying background radiation of life. It's like we thought we realized that ideals were all bullshit and there was no entity we could trust. Once a whole nation found it easier to unite, but mass communication was also a very new innovation that often they were using.
