@Ulfra_Wolfe I know the feeling. Even though there's a lot of joy in my life, there's a lot of hardship these days too, and sometimes I really want to be *swimming* more than *treading water*.

I spend so much time coping, I can't remember what it is to live and feel free and happy.

You know, this system we live in forces us to cope. The money we make, we have to cope with giving up so much damn time to work, and we cope with that. If we don't make regular money, we have to cope with unstable income & the effects.

@Ulfra_Wolfe 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 I’m fucking proud these spaces exist

@anthracite I haaaaate how energy-draining laundromats are. But at least they're a relatively familiar environment?

Can I just say thank you to all my trans brothers, sisters, and non-binary siblings and genuine cis allies for providing a safe space and support network? I am so very grateful that I have a space I can feel myself in.

@Zaiaku I'm starting to REALLY like him, actually. Those tentacles really help control the battlefield. Plus I absolutely adore the idea of just becoming water on a whim.

These eyes won't see the same, after I've lived today.

@Zaiaku MY big downside is that I will eventually, no matter how good I am, get sloppy and blow myself up.

I even said, "I've been using the Zarr and Mirage together. I only killed myself twice today!" to my sparring lover.

@Zaiaku It is! I'm upgrading the HELL out of it. Especially given that it fires clusterbombs, and with Mirage I can multiply that, and then Multishot.............

@Shotagonist@mastodon.social @knightly I disagree on every level possible, because I know what it does for me and I've lived trauma I can compare to it.

@Shotagonist@mastodon.social @knightly Umbra for me is more than just "I don't mind", it's like...

I dunno. What I needed when it came up. A way for me to cope with and see my trauma for what it is.

I dunno, it was... intense and... healing even. I connect to it on such a deep level, I'm not sure I can express it.

@Shotagonist@mastodon.social @knightly Hmmmm. I disagree. I actually love everything about it... big things are coming and this is getting me in the mood.
