You see someone in the nuclear reactor room heading to the place he shouldn't with the thing he shouldn't in a way he shouldn't and looking very intent to in fact destroy the whole facility, it is the opposite of wise to wait for a committee to vote if it's *okay* to stop him

Hong Kong protesters are destroying facial cameras

Oof, I missed the "triggered" part. :|

Subverting their language, but I disagree with doing that.

Fenrir was chained by what he was fated to do to the universe, but then they gave him reason to do it.

Show thread

The Norse gods tricked Fenrir into accepting the chains after ripping him from his family, by telling him it was a test of strength, and applauding every time he destroyed the chains.

They did this because they knew Fenrir would grow too big for Asgard, and even the gods couldn't contend with him.

Eventually they went to the dwarves and had a chain forged, Gleipnir, of the things that do not exist -- a cat's footsteps, the roots of mountains, the breath of a fish

Holy shit, never considered that, but this is likely accurate.

"Destiny" is the "futurecrime" logic of the Norse and I'm sticking to that. Fenrir was ripped from his family and chained at Asgard for something he didn't even do yet.

money and class differences, society, right wing mention

Being exposed to different people, makes you more open.

That's also why right-wing are so hellbent on controlling who you talk to, by tactics of injecting fear.

If you don't know people, who struggle, you don't know their struggles and can believe theories about those struggles (that are usually wrong)

If you know people, that struggle, you are more likely obligated to help them (aka: empathy) and lose resources.

Bought an old camera a few months back, discovered the previous owner had forgotten a roll of film in there. Got it developed and scanned, and it looks like these pics were taken in the 70s, then forgotten in the desert heat and super degraded. They're vaporwave as fuck.

Not saying it's the *center* of anything, but there's an awful lot of evangelical-based, "second-coming"-based fellowships, military schools, private schools, anti-drug boot camps, etc. that all seem to point in bad directions and people who are more or less aligned in certain ways but don't know each other others.

Rosicrucian Fellowship, btw, believe in a "Second Coming", and have a whole thing about willing into action. Also liked triangles a lot.

Also kinda weird how much the Eye of Providence looks like depictions of the Evil Eye in wards.

And is somehow jammed into a lot of stuff, like Russian Orthodox depictions.

Even then, now I got 11 hours of twitter silence except DMs.

I still got here, though.

Hey, everything is fucked, innit? Anyways, I got ideas where the occult meet a lot of the way things are fucked up (especially eclectic Christian ideas of supremacy -- esoteric Christian organizations like Rosicrusian, etc.), and here's a connection for you: Isn't it creepy that the Ghostbusters cartoon just got altered so quickly?

Doing so well, in comes this Q5 focus group. "Family friendly!"

They forced me to delete it, and THEN they would start the timer.

They required my consent to delete the tweet, they didn't cross the boundary of deleting it for me, but they forced me to delete it if I could access my twitter account.

In the real world, wisdom makes a terrible dump stat.

(You know, I don't know why archaeology still uses the word "Indian" in its academic language)
