@Felthry Well, it was just a thousand copies of the player ship- The keyboard controlled them all, so when there was a disruption they didn't react to it in any way and just started colliding.

still. 3d graphics is like magic
@Felthry Yeah, fortunately Unity did all that hard work for me hah
(they all started in a neat grid facing the same way, but one ship bumped an obstacle and it all cascaded from there)
