You know, from transitioning as a woman I will say that there are definitely tons of assumptions as to what people assume you want. For example makeup, doily underwear, etc. I do not like makeup, it just feels so wrong to me and it is not because I am trans.

It is just that people are like "You are going to have 10,000 different shades of makeup!" and honestly all I have is only two nail polish colors: clear and white. I wear plaid and my clothes are so plain. I love sports bras because they are plain. I am a plain girl, I love it!

@XerTheSquirrel Being plain is totally valid and I have known many woman (cis and trans alike) that don't like makeup or getting dolled up. I might love makeup and dolly underwear, but even for me it's not like that's the *only* thing I want. Sometimes I just want stuff that I won't feel guilty about wiping my greasy hands on. <3

Toxic beauty culture is just shoved into women's faces so much.
