You know, with El Salvador adopting bitcoin as its legal currency, this suddenly means that bitcoin might no longer be a commodity, but rather a foreign currency, which means a ton of new laws and regulations may apply to it.

If this does happen, it may ruin cryptocurrencies. Because if any cryptocurrency can suddenly become an actual currency with regulations, they will become a huge risk for those who were attracted to them because of their relative lack of regulation.
