Prior to facebook going down, I was thinking of perhaps signing up and using it to connect with other transgender people in my area.

Naturally, of course, I would use a pseudonym and would access it behind a proxy or VPN. And maybe use a few privacy-focused browser extensions, including that one that randomizes the user-agent string to screw with trackers.

@Zauberin just using a pseudonym at all can actually get you banned from Facebook, haha - they actually have a policy of not letting people use anything but their current legal name

@sharkNserg yeah, though IIRC they only ban if you get reported. Then again, I think trans groups might get trawled semi-regularly and reported for using a false name.

So, gonna scrap that idea entirely :-/
