covid exposure
Okay, so my state has some services for disabled people, which my mother uses. One of these services is that we have someone come in every tuesday to do cleaning. Back in august though, our cleaning lady was out for a few weeks because she said a teacher at her child's daycare tested positive for covid, so she was quarantining herself.
Also around this time, my mother had increasing trouble breathing, and every time she had to get up to go the bathroom or to bed, my brother and I had to turn her oxygen machine up to max, and once she sat back down we had to wait a few minutes while her blood oxygen levels recovered. She said back then that if it got any worse she would need to go to the hospital. But she got better, thankfully.
Today, while the cleaning lady was here, she said that she had tested positive for covid back in august. This means that she quite possibly may have given us covid before she tested positive. If my mother had not gotten vaccinated she would be dead.
Plus, but as I was typing this post I just remembered that back in august my brother was worried because I seemed to be out of breath, but I downplayed it because I do that with my health problems. So, I probably had it as well.

covid exposure
@Zauberin Ack! Would've been helpful if she'd mentioned the positive test *at the time*.. still, yes, that does tie together rather too well. **hug**
