also fuck video tutorials, anyone with adhd will never have the attention span long enough to follow one to the T, which inevitably means the long verboseness of even the most basic shit will force everyone with adhd to bash their head in the wall with trial and error anyway. text tutorials are so much fucking nicer because it lets me use it at my own pace and find shit easily.

"how can a community of unpaid volunteers be ableist?"

well once you notice 90% of the "text tutorials" are just a couple paragraphs of marketing fluff with an embedded youtube video

you'll see how fucking ableist "unpaid" lazy assholes can be

complaining about ableism

its like homebuilding charities who never once build a home with wheelchair access because "its too expensive"

nobody ever fucking types out what 5 clicks it takes because its less time consuming to just explain it

but the only way to explain it to the masses is in a 6 minute video with intro, brief (not brief) educational lesson, self promotion, and then the five clicks in the last 30 seconds with zero explanation because the video is already 5 minutes long

re: complaining about ableism

@Aetous ugh, yeah -.-

See also: having to sit through a long ass video with little real idea as to whether or not the very specific thing you're looking for is even in the video @.@
