Hey friends! Anyone in the Pittsburgh area familiar with the 28X bus line from the Airport to downtown, or any regular @anthrocon attendees familiar with it? My usual rideshare service has gotten an order of magnitude more expensive, so I'm looking at options. Thanks! :)
@cooner I have used the 28X several times with large bags and while they might take a bit longer the price is excellent and you run into some fun people

@artfulreggie Its not the conspiracy its the "I dont have anything else to add here" point since we do agree.
@artfulreggie Well the MKULTRA Kaczynski stuff is true its just it feels like a retread to again agree that the government should have been held more accountable for their actions there.
Not really sure I would call it an obsession either since Kaczynski is in the news again

like.... yes mom corporate media really does fail to give the fuller context to stories and abrogated their responsivities and yes law enforcement institutions are failures and prioritize protecting their own to the detriment of society but we've had this same conversation three times in the last few months and I don't disagree with you? I get it you're still mad about how the reporting around Kaczynski is framed and you want their to be more focus on MKULTRA but eeeeeh
My mom has to be on some watchlist for the govenrment. Either that or her old whitelady aura protects her. I kind of didnt need another jaw wag about all that

@srol yeah I do agree there. I DO like that because there are times I do just enjoy a slow simmer but they do stretch it a lot

@srol yeah, there is certainly a paper to be made about the violence. Especially in earlier novels like Mistborn. At the same time I have been reading more fantasy lately and honestly toning down the sex to prudish is a relief at times. At least considering the violent sexual encounters and such. It varies of course.
