@AdalwinAmillion I do believe what we are calling neurodivergence is a real phenomenon of human experience and at the same time I am not qualified to make judgements on the topic. As long as people arent playing gatekeeper and people are feeling supported by a term then might as well use it

@AdalwinAmillion that said I believe that if a term or label empowers someone or gives them personal succor/comfort then really I should accept the term and use it for them. I am, after all, no expert in mental health so I am unqualified to use strict labels nor is there a benefit to anyone for me to keep to strict terminology

@AdalwinAmillion well I know I am neurotypical so perhaps this is not my lane to speak but my view in general clear delineation lines in human behavior and psychology are somewhat rare.

I suspect, again opinion, that such lines are even fuzzier because colloquial definitions of neurodivergent/neurotypical might not fit with a clinical definition
