so often i see people come to the right conclusion that twitter style social justice is bad, and then react in a completely wrong way by being aggressive and self righteous in opposition to it instead

the idea is that being aggressive and self righteous is bad, not that being conscious of how one's words and actions affect others is bad!

I am not trying to tone control people in how they approach reform or issues. It clearly is not my place to do so.

However, if your actions are turning people away or you have to spend time expend time explaining or defending a slogan maybe dont assume a person is opposed.

Take this vague comment however you wish. Its more me mulling an action that ended an friendly acquaintanceship in 2021
