I find it fascinating that people act surprised that I dont know a random birdsite account. Like 1) yeah there are a lot of people and media ecosystems out there its likely something you like is unknown to others 2) we have so much data showing how social media algorhitms hide and distort content

Am I glad I read the series? I suppose. Its nice to read an impactful work even if you didnt love it. You can see how this impacted fantasy as a genre.

On the final book. Honestly glad its nearly done.

Like I enjoyed parts of it and several characters but... I really do think the thing is not my favorite

I freely admit this is childish of me and I shouldn't be wishing for nasty freezes and bad weather... and yet

I feel weirdly annoyed at the weather. I keep seeing predicitons for freezes or sleet and it doesnt happen. For instance the last few days it qas predicted there would be an ice and snow storm late Monday night into tuesday and now thats shifted again.

@mageuzi yeah and in some ways that makes me "functional" but it can be so frustrating
