I found this an interesting read. Biases are obvious but the thing is its also pretty accurate about the weird oligarchy sexual politics of russia and how it sells itself to a certain type of person as a traditionalist nation

Kidding aside I do think you make a good point. There is a bad habit of ranking problems but many times the perception of the severity is very personal and arbitrary. It can be a form of dismissal but I wish more people recognized the history of using such ranking as a way to wedge minority groups
