In rockets case in the comics he abandoned the place to let it fall into ruin and then rocket and his posse saved the place and escaped and he was angry they survvied "embaressing " him. Iirc

@Saintajax33 my guess is because the Guardians in the movies are all weirdos and freakazoids that much like with movie 2 and the golden people its a counter point showing the idea of perfection is wrong qnd we are stronger for our messy imperfections. Just a guess as I havent seen 3 uet

@AshBunny Not an expert in human psychology but as I understand it no there isn't something wrong with you exploring anti-social behaviors in fantasy. A lot of people do that, and it is a normal behavior to a degree.
The issue is acting on fantasy and causing harm to random people or over focusing on such fantasies to the point of it causing serious problems for your ability to function in daily life.
That said a fuller mental life is one that questions and interrogates where fantasies originate.
