Am I glad I read the series? I suppose. Its nice to read an impactful work even if you didnt love it. You can see how this impacted fantasy as a genre.

I freely admit this is childish of me and I shouldn't be wishing for nasty freezes and bad weather... and yet
I feel weirdly annoyed at the weather. I keep seeing predicitons for freezes or sleet and it doesnt happen. For instance the last few days it qas predicted there would be an ice and snow storm late Monday night into tuesday and now thats shifted again.

As if I didn't have enough reasons to leave that site. From day one I accessed Twitter primarily with third-party clients, mostly Tweetbot. I hate their app and their web site and used them as little as possible.
Aside from that, they way they just cut off both users and developers with no warning or explanation is just dogshit. We knew this was coming, but it's like they scientifically calculated the absolute shittiest way to do it.
Good riddance. Thank goodness for Ivory. ❤️

Watching X-Files while I draw and I just got to the season 7 episode “First Person Shooter.” It’s about a company making a VR game called… “First Person Shooter.” Stories that hinge on fictional interpretations of ‘cutting edge technology’ never age well, but THIS may well be- and I say this without the slightest hint of hyperbole- *the goofiest, stupidest thing I’ve ever seen.* It’s amazing.
