It's absolutely wild that the University of Michigan would rather have grad students go on strike, rather than pay them $38k a year. They're trying to make it seem like the grad union is asking for something super unreasonable, but these are workers with at least a bachelors, many with a masters, and they're only asking for $38k.

I mean, comparing DeSantis to Huey Long seems accurate (both using the politics of the moment to extend their power, both selling a certain message) but if you do it sounds like you're implying things about the ending. Which one should be careful about. Also, I'm not sure DeSantis is as skilled as Long.
