Honestly if McCarthy cant secure the speakership it needs to be underscored just how much of a personal failing that is from the fool. Blaming a raucous caucus I feel lets him off the hook too much.
A competent speaker knows how to rangle votes (often quietly) and how to manage votes and he has failed at both so far.
