Part of why this is so effective is the local system in Nebraska makes it easier. They have a small window for their sessions, limited debate times, and a host of other factors. Unicameral legislatures sound easy in principal but it can grind things to a halt in these cases.
Senator Cavanaugh also clearly has the support of the local Democrats and local leftist organizations. If even one Democrat voted with the Republican bloc her filibuster would fail.
We will see what happens of course
I can adjust going to another state for trips because usually my scheduels get warped anyway and I'm not around other familair touchstones I use to order myself. Time change while being in my home means I'm getting confused signals that shouldnt be confused. Very annoying.
Honestly with how I feel right now its likely a good thing I am not going to #TFF2023 this year. I'd be a mess.

This time change is still mussing me. I feel like I am walking through syrup and I cant order my head. I get why, I use clocks as a coping mechanism to order my ADHD. The problem is when the sunlight changes it warps my perceptions too much. So I spend two weeks in a fog every change. 4 wasted weeks of grumpiness, headaches, and messed up projects.
