i hadn't planned on using the marinade stuff by pouring it into these but i didn't have any spice blends mild enough and didn't have the energy to fuck around mixing spices myself, hahaha. it was the laziest option available that left me with seasoned food, and i'm glad it turned out so nicely in the end.

last night i thought i'd added too much of this orange marinade stuff to my mung beans 'n rice, but this morning as i eat the cold leftovers it's perfect .. the intensity's settled in and mellowed out and i really like it!
i still think i'll use less next time, tho.

tho i’m also tempted to walk down to the sea and watch the sun rise. i know i should just go back to sleep.
