I made afghan biscuits. Here is my review:
pros:
- they taste good
- they require few ingredients
neutral:
- extremely sweet, hard to eat very many at once
cons:
- extremely crumbly because the only wet ingredient is butter
- I definitely should have used much less cornflakes than the recipe said (I used slightly less)
@Antifreeze I used softened butter which is what the recipe and the comments on it called for. That should added some moisture but the cornflakes were a lot to balance out without an egg.
@angrboda the greatest irony is that New Zealand's traditional cookie could really use... an egg....
