@angrboda had a coworker stop a meeting the other day to opine on how scary me too and 'mob justice' is. Two other men in the meeting but I had to shut him down myself. Not something I'm gonna forget. Women will remember not just who was openly awful but who was complicit.

Read through some live blogging of the senate hearing and it's so vile. They can never let us forget that to men, we're second class citizens who deserve to be abused and treated like worthless garbage.

@Fringecrow I loved the Kotaku review - I really enjoy seeing people be enthusiastic about shit they really like, so I watched the whole thing even though I don't have a PlayStation. I guess to each their own - I just think setting the precedent that any dude nerding down on something is automatically being a shithead is tiresome and reinforces toxic masc stuff about men not showing emotions or enthusiasm.

@sleepysheep yeah, I extremely hate them. I haven't been detained for hours but I've spent plenty of time in their office dreading their bullshit. They have gone thru my entire passport rigorously questioned me about every trip to 'prove' that I'm cheating on my husband, which sucked.

@angrboda so stonewall jerkoff beats us to the front of his line and sits there a while. I had seen the driver and he looked... like a gaunt faced neo nazi tbh. After a few mins he flips on his 4 ways and has to drive over to the CBP office - basically a holding area (we've had to do this before w/ Abe but for a US citizen it is very much not standard). No clue what his deal was, but extremely fuck him.

So we were waiting at the border to come back into the US (long lines of cars queued to go through basically toll booths where CBP asks you questions) and we kept ending up next to this pickup that was all bondo and duct tape with a big confederate flag mounted on a pole attached to the frame. NY plates. The dude is using 2 kettle bells as truck nuts. It was... a lot.

I would visit Canada a lot more if the drivers on the QEW had just a smidge less bloodlust. IKEA was a good trip! We got a lot of stuff.

Time to drive to Canada to get a coffee table
